Samsung just dropped the August 2024 update on Galaxy S24 in the US. The company has recently detailed its latest security update package. A handful of mid-range and flagship Galaxy models have also received the latest patch.

The Galaxy S24 is getting an August 2024 update by AT&T in the US. Following the initial rollout, the expansion will likely take place this week. Samsung could also update carrier-unlocked Galaxy S24 models with the latest patches soon.

Samsung consumers were waiting for a feature drop. Last month, new Galaxy foldables debuted the One UI 6.1.1 software. It comes with various new features and improved Galaxy AI capabilities for the latest foldable smartphones.

Before the Android 15-based One UI 7, the Korean tech giant would provide new AI features as part of its One UI 6.1.1 update. However, the feature drop is now expected to be available as the second August update later this month.

Anyways, the latest August patch is a must to install on your Galaxy. It contains fixes for 50 vulnerabilities detected by Samsung and Google in One UI and Android. Select stock apps would also be upgraded to uplevel overall user experience.
