Realme will launch its blazing-fast 300W charging technology soon. Ahead of the official debut, a leaker having time machine exposed the upcoming charging tech. The video screens a device charging 17% battery in just 35 seconds.

The Chinese phone maker announced to launch the ‘world’s fastest charging technology’ on August 14th. Credible source Onleaks leaked an official-looking video that shows Realme’s upcoming 300W fast-charging tech in action.

It can be seen that the phone charges from 0 to 17% in just 35 seconds. At present, the handset’s battery capacity and build technology remain a mystery. The company has already brought 240W fast charging with the Realme GT Neo 5.

The handset might remain limited to the Chinese smartphone market. This comes at a time when the world’s largest phone vendors sticking to under 50W charging speeds. Only a handful of Samsung phones support a maximum of 45W charging.

25W charging speed has become an outdated technology. However, brands like Samsung, Apple, and Google don’t want to explore beyond limitations. There may be consideration about the safety of devices as well as the longevity of the battery pack.

Increasing just charging speed won’t make the work well. If you are pairing such a higher charging speed with a conventional battery, there may be disadvantages. That is why, Samsung is considering adopting EV-like solid-state batteries.

Samsung will launch the Galaxy S25 Ultra next year. The smartphone is almost confirmed to have a 5000mAh battery and 45W charging support. So if you are looking for only high charging speed, Chinese brands are the only (not preferred) option.
