[Opinion] Samsung One UI 7 Beta should be a global affair
Shouldn’t Samsung launch One UI 7 Beta in all countries? It’s a long-standing demand of Galaxy consumers, which remains untouched. Samsung phones are pretty popular and One UI significantly helps them stay ahead of the competition.
I’ve experienced nearly 4 One UI Beta activities. The company keeps it limited to seven countries of which three are from Europe. Apart from Samsung’s home ground, One UI Beta launches in China, Germany, India, Poland, the UK and the US.
Expanding the One UI 7 Beta to more countries would be like inviting everyone to the party. Not only would it create a bigger buzz around Samsung, but it would also help them find any little problems before the final version comes out.
Last year, Beta builds popped up indicating One UI Beta expansion to more countries. The revelation created massive hype among consumers. However, it all ended up changing nothing as Beta remained capped at 7 markets.
Why One UI Beta should be a global affair
Samsung’s One UI Beta is a sneak peek into the future of your smartphone. It’s an opportunity to try out new features and user interface tweaks. Limited market availability is like having a super cool new toy and only sharing it with your best friends. It’s not fair!
With the One UI Beta Program in all countries, Samsung could get feedback from people all over the planet. Different countries have different ways of using their phones, so this would help Samsung make a One UI that works for everyone.
Releasing a Beta to every country is a big job. But think of the payoff: a better product, happier customers, and a stronger Samsung brand. At the same time, it would be entering the competition that Samsung has been missing for years.
Google’s Android and Apple’s iOS enter Beta in all countries. Both companies run Beta activity throughout the year alongside regular Public firmware releases. This helps them better discover bugs and issues and provide solutions at the earliest.
