Samsung is committing 7 years of Android upgrades to select Galaxy devices. The newly launched Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 are guaranteed for longer software support. It’s the same upgrade policy that Samsung brought to the S24 series.

Following the Galaxy Store 6.6.13.10 update, Samsung published a notice stating the requirement of a Samsung Account to be logged in. The notice also spotlights that you won’t be allowed to download and install stuff without a Samsung Account.
Starting September 25, 2024, you must be logged in to your Samsung Account to use the Galaxy Store app and service. When you launch Galaxy’s app Store, if you are not logged in to your Samsung Account, you will be prompted to log in.
