[Report] Samsung Galaxy S25 series could not skyrocket in 2025

The Galaxy S24 series amazed Samsung in initial shipments. Galaxy AI played a key role in expanding sales and breaking estimations. However, the Samsung Galaxy S25 series may not be able to surpass Galaxy S24’s sales in 2025.

Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that the Samsung Galaxy S25 series sales in 2025 could be similar to the S24 series. There’s a need for groundbreaking upgrades to convince people to upgrade their phones to the latest product launch from Samsung.

I believe Samsung could manage to ship the Galaxy S25 series more than the S24. Multiple reasons include the anticipation of older device users. People having the S21 and S22 series would switch to the S25 Ultra for upgraded camera and design.

There are nearly four months in the tentative release of the next-gen flagships. The chipsets that will be used are almost final as well as the upgraded Gemini Nano AI model. It would be interesting to see what design changes Samsung has in the pipeline.

Galaxy S25 Series

Samsung could launch the Galaxy S25 series in January 2025. The lineup, as always, should contain three models: S25, S25 Plus and S25 Ultra. The company is reportedly working on a design revamp alongside other refinements.

Gemini AI used in Google’s Pixel 9 series will likely expand to the S25 series. The upcoming phones should feature enhanced artificial intelligence and GenAI capabilities. We could also see amazing additions derived from Generative AI.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra could rival Apple’s latest flagships in terms of performance. Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 uses Qualcomm’s new Oryon CPU. After graphics, the CPU performance of Snapdragon could manage to surpass Apple’s flagship chip.
