Samsung is expanding the August 2024 security update for Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphones to the Verizon network carrier in the US. The company will soon make this update available to all models in the coming days or weeks.

Users of the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra smartphones are getting the August 2024 security update on Verizon network carrier in the US through the One UI Build version N981USQS9HXH1 and N986USQS9HXH1 respectively.

The latest security patch addresses over 45 issues. It includes critical fixes from Google for vulnerabilities in Android to enhance security for Galaxy devices against potential threats. Additionally, Samsung has resolved 14 vulnerabilities, improving system services, Knox services, Galaxy Watch, and more.

Moreover, this update protects from possible bugs and viruses to ensure the smartphones operate smoothly. Samsung advises all users to install the update immediately to benefit from the new security measures. More users will soon be able to enjoy this update.

To check for the August 2024 security update manually on your Galaxy Note 20 phone, head toward your phone’s Settings. At the bottom, you will get the Software Update section, simply open it. Inside the submenu, you need to hit the Download and Install button if your Galaxy fetches a new OTA.
