Galaxy Z Fold 4 users in Europe receiving August 2024 update

Samsung has pushed the August 2024 security update for Galaxy Z Fold 4 in Europe. This update is already rolled out in the US and the company will soon make it available to more countries.

The firmware version of the August 2024 security update for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is F936BXXS8FXG3 in Europe. This update installs the latest security patch to improve the system’s security and stability.

According to the official notes, the latest patch includes fixes for 34 threats and CVEs from Google and 14 SVEs from Samsung. Moreover, it also brings enhancements to the system applications as well as fixes for some unknown bugs.

Notably, it fixes issues related to system services, Knox services, Galaxy Watch, and more. This update protects from possible bugs and viruses to ensure the smartphones operate smoothly.

To install the update, open the smartphone’s Settings, select ‘Software Update’, and then ‘Download and install’. Following these steps will ensure that your Galaxy smartphone is up-to-date with the latest security protections.

Aside from this, Samsung is working to start the One UI 6.1.1 rollout for older Galaxy flagship devices. This major update will bring several enhancements and Galaxy AI features to provide a next-level experience. One UI 6.1.1 update was introduced with Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 smartphones.
