Samsung Galaxy A06 launched with Key Island, 50MP camera

Samsung just launched the Galaxy A06 in Vietnam. The smartphone has been in the rumor mill for the past few months. Putting an end, Samsung officially announced the device in Vietnam that would surely be available in more markets.

Talking about design, the device has a flat back with vertical stripes that increase aesthetics and prevent fingerprints. The power button is also doubled with a fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication for privacy and security.

Users can fully experience the latest Android OS and One UI features, as well as enjoy the speed performance from the 2.0GHz Octa-core processor of the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset and the high multitasking ability of 6GB RAM.

The device will go on sale from August 22, 2024, in 4/6 GB RAM and 64/128GB storage options. The company also revealed the suggested retail prices: VND 3,190,000 for 4GB and VND 3,790,000 for the 6GB variant.

With upgraded fingerprint security and Samsung’s new trendy “Key Island” design, the Galaxy A06 promises to continue the position of the “Best-selling Galaxy A” feature phone from the previous generation.

The Galaxy A06 is equipped with a large 6.7-inch display supporting a 90Hz refresh rate. Samsung highlights that the super wide display frame helps users watch panoramic movies extremely well, and enjoy all their favorite content.

The smartphone brings a 50MP primary camera that helps users capture every memorable moment. The dual camera has a competitive resolution that meets the needs of portrait, background blur, anti-shake filming, and live streaming.

It’s packed with a durable 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
