Samsung is expanding the August 2024 security update for Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones in Brazil. The new update improves system security and stability to provide a better user experience.

It is worth mentioning that the fresh update is already available in Europe, India, the Middle East, and the US. The update is rolling out gradually so it may take some hours or days to reach all models.
The fresh update improves the security and stability to provide a better experience. Notably, the latest patch contains the Security Maintenance Release (SMR), combining patches from Google and Samsung.
Google addresses 1 critical, 34 high-level vulnerabilities in Android, although 2 are irrelevant to Galaxy devices. In addition, Samsung has fixed 14 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) to strengthen device security further. Starting September 25, 2024, you must be logged in to your Samsung Account to use the Galaxy Store app and service. When you launch Galaxy’s app Store, if you are not logged in to your Samsung Account, you will be prompted to log in.
