Samsung Galaxy S24 FE popped up on India’s BIS certification site ahead of launch. The company is expected to debut the device in October this year. The BIS listing comes as a major development, suggesting an imminent debut.

91mobiles spotted Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S24 FE on the BIS database. The handset carries version number SM-S721B. It will be supported by dual SIM; that’s what the listing shows off regarding the product.

India is a key market for Samsung and all other smartphone makers. The company receives adequate response on its Fan Edition products. The Galaxy S24 FE could grab some extra attention due to its rumored upgrades.

Recently, promo images of the smartphone have been leaked. The next FE could be equipped with an enhanced variant of the Exynos 2400 chipset. Samsung has also reportedly upgraded the battery so it can last even longer between charges.

The screen could be as large as the Galaxy S24 Plus – 6.7-inch. This change would put the device in fierce competition among brands in India. However, the larger size would also harm a dedicated user base who prefers smaller sizes (such as 6.4″).

In terms of optics, the Galaxy S24 FE sounds like a replica of the Z Fold 6. It could get a 50-megapixel primary, a 12-megapixel ultrawide, and an 8-megapixel Telephoto (10MP in S23 FE, Fold6) with 3x optical zoom and 30x digital zoom.

Earlier, Korea’s ETNews reported that the Galaxy S24 FE will launch in October this year. The device will have flagship features at affordable pricing. Galaxy AI features will help it stand apart of rivals in the global smartphone market.
