Samsung starts rolling out Circle to Search to the Galaxy A55 5G with an August 2024 update. Interestingly, the firmware also brings a Vividness Slider for even more display adjustment.

Recently, Samsung announced the expansion of AI-powered Circle to Search to Galaxy A55 5G and more models. The initial update rollout is taking place in Vietnam as confirmed by the user on Reddit.

Circle to Search is a very popular feature among Samsung consumers. Debuted with the Galaxy S24 series, it became a key trick of One UI. It’s exclusively available on select Galaxy and Pixel devices

Samsung specifically mentioned the addition of Circle to Search in the firmware changelog. However, a user having eagle eyes also discovered the new Vividness slider available on the flagship models.

Google App should be updated to the latest version from the Play Store. It’s quite easy to trigger the unique search method, here’s how –

Navigation Gesture

Tap and hold on to the navigation bar for 3 seconds, and a screen splash animation will occur confirming Circle to Search is functional.

Navigation buttons:

If you prefer using the Navigation buttons, you need to press and hold the home button. The entire screen will get a splash animation making Circle to Search accessible.

The update rollout is happening in Vietnam sequentially. It will also be available for Galaxy A54, A35 and A34 smartphones. For the A55, you can identify the update through PDA build version A556EXXU4AXH1.
