Samsung has rolled out the August 2024 security update for Galaxy A24 smartphone users. Based on One UI 6.1 and Android 14, the update makes the smartphone more stable, secure, and reliable.

August 2024 security update for Samsung Galaxy A24 arrives with One UI build version A245NKSS4CXG2. Users will have to download around 350MB package to install the update.

Users of Samsung Galaxy A24 are getting the fresh security patch in Korea and the company will expand it in more countries soon. It is an initial rollout so it may take some hours or days to reach all models.

The latest security update includes the August 2024 security patch, which fixes over 45 security issues, including 1 critical and 34 high-level vulnerabilities from Google. Notably, 1 CVE was previously resolved in earlier updates, and 2 CVEs are not applicable to Galaxy devices.

Moreover, the update contains fixes for 14 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) specific to Samsung devices and apps. This includes improvements to system services, Knox services, Galaxy Watch, and other related components.

Users of Samsung Galaxy A24 smartphone can easily check and install the update via a few easy steps:

  • Navigate to Settings.
  • Select Software Updates from the menu.
  • Tap on the Download and Install option to initiate the update process.
  • If the update is available, proceed to install it.
