Samsung expands Galaxy S22 August 2024 update to India
Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra users are getting an August 2024 security update in India. The new update improves system security and stability to provide a better user experience.
Users of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series can verify the August 2024 security update in India through the One UI build version mentioned below.

It is worth mentioning that the fresh update is already available in Europe and the US. The update is rolling out gradually so it may take some hours or days to reach all models.
According to official details, August 2024 security fixes over 45 security issues, including 1 critical and 34 high-level vulnerabilities from Google. Notably, 1 CVE was previously resolved in earlier updates, and 2 CVEs are not applicable to Galaxy devices.
In addition, the update contains fixes for 14 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) specific to Samsung devices and apps. This includes improvements to system services, Knox services, Galaxy Watch, and other related components.

Samsung Galaxy S22 standard model with Android 15 and One UI 7 appeared on Geekbench. It received a single-core score of 1219 and a multi-core score of 2802. Samsung today pushed the One UI 6.1.1 for 2023 flagships in South Korea. Samsung will likely expand the One UI 6.1.1 update to the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series in the US next week.
