Samsung has pushed a new software update for the Galaxy Tab S7 series, which installs the August 2024 security update to improve system security and stability. This update is available for the 4G variant of this Tab.

The latest security update includes the August 2024 security patch, which fixes over 45 security issues, including 1 critical and 34 high-level vulnerabilities from Google. Notably, 1 CVE was previously resolved in earlier updates, and 2 CVEs are not applicable to Galaxy devices.

In addition, the update contains fixes for 14 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) specific to Samsung devices and apps. This includes improvements to system services, Knox services, Galaxy Watch, and other related components.

Aside from this, it improves system stability and performance to provide a better Galaxy experience. If you have received the notification of the update then install it now to get a bug-free experience.

August 2024 security update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 series can be verified through One UI build versions ending with DXH1. It is an initial rollout so it may take some hours or days to reach all models.

You can also check the update by visiting the Settings app on your Tab and opening the Software Update section. Now, click on the Download and install option. If any update is available, you can follow the on-screen instructions to install the update on your Galaxy Tab S7.
