August 2024 update for Galaxy S22, S23 FE live in Brazil

Samsung has released the August 2024 security update for Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus, and Galaxy S22 Ultra smartphones in Brazil. These devices’ users are already enjoying enhanced security in several other countries.

Users of the Samsung Galaxy S22 series and Galaxy S23 FE in Brazil have to download a package of around 400MB to install the August 2024 update. The firmware versions of these devices for the latest update are given below.

  • S901EXXSAEXGE – Galaxy S22
  • S906EXXSAEXGE – Galaxy S22 Plus
  • S908EXXSAEXGE – Galaxy S22 Ultra

The latest security patch addresses over 45 issues. It includes critical fixes from Google for vulnerabilities in Android to enhance security for Galaxy devices against potential threats. Additionally, Samsung has resolved 14 vulnerabilities, improving system services, Knox services, Galaxy Watch, and more.

Moreover, this update protects from possible bugs and viruses to ensure the smartphones operate smoothly. Samsung advises all users to install the update immediately to benefit from the new security measures.

To check for the August 2024 security update manually, head toward your phone’s Settings. At the bottom, you will get the Software Update section, simply open it. Inside the submenu, you need to hit the Download and Install button if your Galaxy fetches a new OTA.
