Android 15 QPR 1.1 is out amid delayed One UI 7 Beta
Google released Android 15 QPR Beta 1.1 for Pixel phones. The company has also included the newly launched Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro XL models. The rollout comes when Samsung enthusiasts are anticipating the One UI 7 Beta Program.
Android 15 QPR1 Beta 1.1 is rolling out to Pixel devices, following last week’s initial release. The latest AP41.240726.010 build is available for all eligible Pixel smartphones included with the August 2024 security patch.
Eligible Pixel phones are Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel Tablet, Pixel Fold, Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 8a, Pixel 9, and Pixel 9 Pro XL. Meanwhile, Galaxy S24 users are still waiting for the Beta Program to kick off.
There is only one fix in Beta 1.1:
- Fixed an issue that could sometimes cause a device to restart unexpectedly. (Issue #361916913)
QPR Beta Program:
Google runs the QPR Beta Program of Android for Pixel smartphones. The company tests new features and improvements for Pixel Feature Drop. It runs around a quarter, with a Stable rollout taking place as part of the Feature Drop release on Pixels.
There’s high demand from Samsung to follow the same pursuit. This would allow developers to find and address any minor or major functional flaws. A wide audience would help the team develop and test new features for Galaxy devices.
