Today, Samsung announced the expansion of Smart Forward. The company revealed new features will roll out to select devices this year. These Smart Forward updates are the latest step forward in Samsung’s journey to deliver optimal experiences.

Samsung’s Smart Forward updates introduce an array of new functionalities. The Family Hub will now come with Quick Share, Buds Auto Switch, and Fridge Call features, which significantly improve connectivity and usability.

The new Quick Share makes sharing memories and recipes while in the kitchen easier than ever. The function allows users to quickly send photos to the Family Hub screen directly from their Galaxy smartphone with just a few clicks.

Galaxy Buds users can benefit from the Buds Auto Switch feature. It lets them seamlessly switch to their mobile device to answer incoming calls. As a result, the user can get back to the ongoing call when the call is finished.

Quick Remote is also being expanded across refrigerators produced since 2023. The AI-powered Bixby assistant will understand commands with multiple intentions and remember the most recent conversation.

Users of 2024 refrigerators with Family Hub can simply say, “Open the refrigerator door.” Korean and US refrigerators with Family Hub also get a Generative Wallpaper feature so users can create custom wallpapers for the fridge’s screen.
