Samsung Galaxy S24 FE clears FCC approval in the US
Samsung Galaxy S24 FE gained FCC approval in the US. The development came after the recent listing in the authority’s database. The smartphone has also made its presence in different countries’ certification authorities.
FCC confirms the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE features dual-band Wi-Fi with Wi-Fi 6E support, NFC, Bluetooth, and 5G support. The upcoming smartphone could also be equipped with reverse wireless charging up to 9W.
The certification also disclosed the phone’s height to be 162mm and width to be 77.3mm. However, the measurement of the phone’s thickness is yet to be known. Notably, the Galaxy S23 FE is 8.2mm thick and the S24 is just 7.6mm.
Samsung could launch the Galaxy S24 FE in late September or early October. The Galaxy Z Fold SE is also rumored to be unveiled in a similar timeframe. Over the past few weeks, we’ve heard a lot about the next FE’s key specs.
The device could feature a 6.7-inch screen, larger than the S24 FE’s 6.4-inch. The camera department could also be equivalent to the Z Fold 6. Samsung is also packing it with a larger battery for even longer backup.
The S24 FE could be available in different countries globally. The company could use an underclocked Exynos 2400 chipset internationally. The storage options could include 128GB and 256GB paired with 8GB RAM.
