Samsung Galaxy F14 5G receives August 2024 security update

We are in September and the 5G variant of the Samsung Galaxy F14 smartphone is getting the August 2024 security update. The update is available in India, with plans to expand soon.

The firmware version of the August 2024 security update for the Samsung Galaxy F14 5G smartphone is E146BXXS5CXH1 in India. The package size of the update is around 240MB.

Samsung Galaxy F14 5G users can now enjoy enhanced security and smoother performance as the update fixes several issues. According to the official details, the update resolves over 45 issues to provide a better user experience.

Notably, the August 2024 security patch fixes several issues including 34 high levels CVEs for Google and 14 SVEs for Samsung. These CVEs are mainly related to system services, Knox services, Galaxy Watch, and more.

Users are advised to install the update promptly to benefit from the improved security measures. To install the update, open the smartphone’s settings, select ‘Software Update’, and then ‘Download and install’.
