One UI 6.1.1 Camera features, supported Samsung devices announced

Samsung formally announced the One UI 6.1.1 rollout for older Galaxy devices. Now, Samsung revealed all the new camera and gallery features arriving on your Galaxy smartphone or tablet with One UI 6.1.1 update and Galaxy AI suite.

One UI 6.1.1 debuts enhancements to various camera and gallery features. It includes upgrades to Flex Cam and Instant Slow-mo as well as Gallery’s Live Effects and Motion Clipper, and Photo Editor’s Portrait Studio and Convert Sketch.

Do note that all the enhancements won’t be expanded to every eligible model. The feature distribution will be based on hardware specs. Auto Zoom of Flex Cam is exclusively available on the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and 6.

Auto Zoom of Flex Cam

The Auto Zoom feature supported on the Z Flip 6 and the ability to shoot like a camcorder with the Flex Cam has also been applied to the Z Flip 5.

  • This feature only applies to Z Flip 5/6 and does not apply to Z Fold 5/6.

Instant Slowmo

Instant slow-mo is also available in HDR Video format in the Gallery app. A menu allowing Galaxy users to save the section watched is added at the top left in Gallery UI. You can also share the slow-mo video using the share sheet without saving it separately.

1) Live effects

You can enjoy photos with people and animals in them in three dimensions.

2) Motion Clipper

You can create moving stickers and GIFs by long-pressing on a Motion Photo to select it.

Photo Editor

1) Portrait studio

You can save your photos by selecting from a variety of styles through AI generation.

2) Convert sketch

You can add a sketch drawn on top of your photo by creating an image.

Overlay Translation

The company provides natural translation results by maintaining the text and background color of the original image and improving readability by overlaying it on the image.

Expert RAW

Astronomical Figures

The Astro Portrait feature lets you take photos of people and stars together. This feature is scheduled to be supported through an Expert RAW app update in One UI 6.1.1.

Galaxy S25 Ultra: Samsung’s next masterpiece in new renders!

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is coming early next year. The smartphone could introduce a revamped design, a sharp difference from the previous models. The possible design of the Galaxy S25 Ultra has been showcased in a series of new renders.

Renders display the Galaxy S25 Ultra in Titanium Gold. The imagery by TechnizoConcept is based on CAD renders published by Onleaks and details shared by IceUniverse. Simply put, new renders are in HD with a new colorway of redesigned image leak.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra will have the thinnest symmetrical bezels in Samsung’s history. This aspect will be even better than Apple’s most premium iPhone 16 Pro Max. The company has also worked on the middle frame to make it lightweight.

The flagship is said to have a quite thin middle frame, that won’t radically expand outside the frame. This design change aimed at making the phone lighter and more handly without altering aspects such as screen or frame.

It was rumored that the phone lacks an S Pen slot in CAD renders. However, Onleaks later clarified that the frame boasts S Pen silo. The device with the matching color of the phone accompanied in the renders, continuing the Note legacy.

The frame seems flat, similar to Apple’s iPhone models. Google also replicated the frame approach in its Pixel 9 series. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is also seemingly getting a flat frame design, making it more handy to carry and use for longer.

Rumors suggest the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be Samsung’s finest creation yet. While renders display significantly refined design, the hardware aspect is also boosted. Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 could be able to beat Apple iPhone 16 Pro’s A18 Pro chip.
