Samsung confirms One UI 6.1.1 release date for Galaxy S23, Z Flip/Fold 5 and Tab S9

Samsung One UI 6.1.1 update coming to Galaxy S23, S23 FE, Z Flip 5, Z Fold 5, and Tab S9 devices. The company pushed the feature-packed One UI update to the Galaxy S24 series in South Korea, with expansion to the Global market set to occur on the 9th.

For older models, Samsung announced One UI 6.1.1 would start rolling out on September 12 to Galaxy S23 series, S23 FE, Z Flip 5, Z Fold 5, and Tab S9 series. This expansion puts some of the latest Galaxy AI features in the hands of even more users.

Samsung’s latest One UI 6.1.1 is still based on the Android 14 operating system. It offers the latest communication, productivity, and creativity features, increasing convenience and enabling innovative new experiences throughout the devices.

Pay attention, the updated software version will be displayed as One UI 6.1 for the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy S23 series, and Galaxy S23 FE, and One UI 6.1.1 for the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series.

Interpreter offers a Listening Mode, providing one-way translations when listening to a presentation. With Chat Assist, users can easily draft emails, social media posts, and other short comments using Composer.

Note Assist makes time-consuming meeting notes a thing of the past, enabling translation and note summaries. The newly added transcript feature can quickly create notes based on voice recordings.

PDF Overlay Translation can effortlessly translate and overlay text in PDF files or even translate text in images and graphs. Besides, the Sketch to Image helps enhance photos by generating a selection of image options.

The upgraded Galaxy AI also allows you to instantly create portraits in a variety of styles such as 3D cartoon or watercolor with Portrait Studio. Instant Slow-mo also lets users seamlessly slow a video down and share it without saving separately.
