Samsung’s One UI 7.1 software could beat Apple’s iOS 18 in smoothness. While Galaxy fans eagerly await One UI 7 Beta, rumors about One UI 7.1 started to surface online. This time, the dominance of iOS reliability is getting challenged by One UI.

IceUniverse reports that Samsung One UI 7.1 could be “a little smoother” than iOS 18. In recent years, animation and fluency have become the key point of discussion among consumers. Hence, Samsung devs seemingly working to compete with iOS as well.

No doubt, the iOS offers stunning animation and transition effects. There are various reasons behind Apple’s edge in providing exceptional experience. Samsung will keep losing its consumers to Apple in lack of fulfilling reasonable demands.

The most recent iOS 18 software has some pretty cool animation effects. App opening and closing transition, switching, and effects across functions take the experience to a whole new level. You can expect many improvements from One UI 7.1 next year.

Samsung will release the One UI 7 update based on Android 15 later this year. It could be distributed to all compatible Galaxy smartphones and tablets within 2024. The company is expected to bring some notable design changes.

In early next year, Samsung will debut One UI 7.1 with the Galaxy S25 series. The new version will also be based on Android 15. However, Galaxy users can expect plenty of new features and improvements across all aspects.

Following the launch of the S25 series, One UI 7.1 update will be shared with select older devices. Similar to One UI 6.1.1 expansion, the company will expand new features and improvements with older models on a large scale.
