Blackmagic Camera 1.3 update brings support for more Samsung phones. The application introduces pro videography features at no cost. Developers continue to enhance the user experience by adding new features and expanding support.

Recently, Blackmagic Camera pushed a 1.3 version update, bringing even more “Pro” level video recording features. In particular, Blackmagic Camera is now supported on Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 5 and Z Fold 5.

The update also includes a timecode for recorded clips. Timecode is a sequence of numbers, which helps you synchronize audio and video while editing. Besides, the addition of anamorphic lenses allows you to capture a much wider field of view.

The update also debuts support for timelapse recordings. Off-speed recording has been added, letting you shoot footage at a different frame rate than the project. These features will take your phone’s video recording capabilities to a whole new level.

For Pixel devices, Blackmagic Camera unlocks video recording at higher framerates. There are numerous performance and stability improvements included in the release. More details can be checked in the release notes below:
