One UI 6.1.1 update offers several new features and enhancements to deliver a next-level experience. Now, users of Samsung Galaxy devices with One UI 6.1.1 software can enjoy the enhanced Phone Link feature of Windows 11.

Windows 11’s Phone Link is available for other Android phones along with Samsung devices. But the best experience is still with Galaxy devices because of the partnership between Samsung and Microsoft.

Users of the Samsung Galaxy S23 phones running One UI 6.1.1 have noticed a big improvement in screen mirroring with single-time permission. It makes it much easier to control apps on the phone directly from the desktop.

Previously, whenever users wanted to share their phone screen with their computer, they had to grant permission each time, which was too annoying. Now, when they tap the “Open Phone screen” option in the Phone Link app, the Galaxy phone connects instantly without asking for permission.

In addition to this, the integration of Copilot into Phone Link’s messaging section allows users to write and summarize text messages without needing to pick up their phones.

Furthermore, Microsoft has introduced a new “Phone Link” plugin for Copilot, which lets users manage their text messages directly in Microsoft Edge. Now, users can access their phone’s storage directly through File Explorer in Windows 11, removing the need for a USB cable.

Overall, the One UI 6.1.1 update makes connecting Samsung phones to Windows 11 easier and more convenient with the Phone Link feature. At the moment, this major One UI 6.1.1 update is available for Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Tab S9 series.
