Samsung has started releasing the September 2024 security update for Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra smartphones. The update is currently rolling out in Europe and the company will expand it soon to more countries.

The latest update boosts your phone’s performance by fixing several security problems. It addresses 1 critical issue and 43 high-level ones. One of these issues was already fixed in earlier updates, and another one doesn’t impact Galaxy devices.

Along with Google’s patches, Samsung is adding 23 of its own fixes to improve security in My Files, Theme Center, One UI Home, Knox, and Dex. The update overall improves the stability, security, and performance of the device.

Users of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series can verify the September 2024 update through the One UI build version:

  • S921BXXS3AXHD – Galaxy S24
  • S926BXXS3AXHD – Galaxy S24 Plus
  • S928BXXS3AXI1 – Galaxy S24 Ultra

Apple Watch Ultra 2 faced a defeat against Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra and Watch 7. Consumer Reports honored the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch 7 with leading scores, literally defeating the Apple Watch Ultra 2.

Samsung’s latest smartwatches, the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Watch 7, have claimed the number one and number two spots in the latest rankings by the prestigious consumer review publication, ConsumerReports.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra secured 92 points, surpassing the Apple Watch Ultra 2 which achieved 91 points. In a first for smartwatch evaluations, Consumer Reports awarded the Galaxy Watch Ultra an “Excellent” rating in all 11 categories assessed.

This news highlights Samsung’s significant achievement in the smartwatch market. The Galaxy Watch Ultra’s exceptional performance across all categories solidifies its position as a leading smartwatch option in the US.

Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra Consumer Reports

The Galaxy Watch Ultra excelled in various areas including ease of use, versatility, health features, scratch resistance, water resistance, ease of interaction, and readability. The Galaxy Watch 7 LTE also shared the top spot with a score of 92.

The Galaxy Watch 7 BT secured a joint fourth place with a score of 90, resulting in Samsung occupying three of the top five spots. Do note that the recently released Apple Watch 10 was not included in this evaluation.
