Unlocked Galaxy S24 gets One UI 6.1.1 September 2024 update in the US

Following One UI 6.1.1, Samsung released the September 2024 update to the unlocked Galaxy S24 series in the US. The company has recently begun the initial rollout, covering select markets in the European Union.

September 2024 security update comes as the first release for the Galaxy S24 series post One UI 6.1.1 distribution. Earlier this month, the company disclosed that the September patch brings fixes to 1 critical and 43 high-level CVEs.

The update can be identified via the PDA build version ending with AXHF. The rollout is taking place gradually, with hearing that Verizon also sending out the One UI 6.1.1 update to the Galaxy S24 series in the States.

  • S926U1UES3AXHF – S24 Plus
  • S928U1UES3AXHF – S24 Ultra

September 2024 patch:

The September patch is a quite fruitful development for the Galaxy S24 users. It is aimed at addressing many minor issues left in the recent major update. The battery drain and overheating concerns should also be improved.

To update your Galaxy, access the Software update section within Settings. You will get Download and install button to trigger the process. If the phone fetches a new release, it will be downloaded on the fly, enabling the Restart button.

One UI 7 Beta – An uncertain hold

One UI 7 Beta Program hasn’t been announced for the Galaxy S24 series. We are quite near to Samsung’s Developer Conference 2024 – scheduled for October 3. Meanwhile, there’s no sign of the Beta Program to commence.

Samsung has recently released the One UI 6.1.1 features. Many older Galaxies received upgraded Galaxy AI tricks from the Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6. It’s an appetizer for the users as the Beta Program is getting delayed again and again.
