Samsung has integrated Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Ring with AI through phones. The integration further elevates the health monitoring capabilities of its wearables. With this, Galaxy AI presents new ways to manage health with Galaxy Watch and Ring.

This year, Samsung brought its first smart ring – the Galaxy Ring to the market. It comes with many health monitoring features, everything right from your ring. Notably, the device is the ideal companion for detailed sleep monitoring.

Galaxy Ring is powered by advanced sensors and AI sleep algorithms. It offers sleep insights to help people develop healthier sleep habits. The Ring syncs with the Samsung Health app to provide personalized health info without any subscription.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra offers enhanced performance and features suitable for outdoor activities like running or cycling. Additionally, the Galaxy Watch 7 comes with a wealth of wellness insights, allowing users to create their routines.

These features include Multi-sport Workout for triathlon training, Functional Threshold Power (FTP) for cycling using AI-powered data analysis, and an advanced Custom Heart Rate Zone for optimal workout intensity.

The updated BioActive Sensor featured in the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Watch 7 is noteworthy. The optical sensor measures AGEs – an indicator of metabolic health and biological aging strongly influenced by overall lifestyle and dietary habits.

The new Energy Score assesses well-being by monitoring indicators such as activity levels, sleep, heart rate during sleep, and more. Users can make informed health choices, such as deciding whether to take a break or increase their physical activity levels.

Samsung Foundry business is in much trouble due to unstable yields. Technological setbacks are also hurting the company’s semiconductor production business. Samsung is considering major changes to revive itself in the Foundry market.

According to the info, Samsung Foundry is facing challenges due to consecutive losses and technological setbacks. The cutting-edge 3nm process has failed to win production orders due to issues such as unstable yields.

While TSMC continues to grow, Samsung Foundry’s decline is widening the gap in the market. The Taiwanese chip maker held a commanding 62.3% market share in the second quarter, compared to Samsung’s 11.5%.

That said, the Korean tech giant is considering strategic changes, including spinning off the foundry business and listing it in the US. Samsung’s upcoming financial results will provide insights into the severity of its foundry crisis.

Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chip made using GAA 3nm process also has a low yield, making its inclusion in the Galaxy S25 series uncertain. The 2nm process node has also faced delays, further complicating Samsung’s technological roadmap.
