iOS 18 is official, with One UI 7 and HarmonyOS NEXT unveiling this month. These three mobile skins are just different than each other. iOS is Apple’s exclusive OS, Samsung’s One UI is based on Android, while HarmonyOS NEXT is Huawei’s Android-free OS.

As mobile OSs evolved, Samsung’s One UI gained much attention in the industry. Apple’s iOS is still far better in terms of system animation and fluid animations. At the same time, Huawei’s Apple-like approach has also made HarmonyOS a big deal.

Smoothness in Mobile OS

Smooth animation is usually represented by fluid animations, responsiveness to touch, and overall user experience. Functional smoothness completely relies on hardware specifications, software fluency, and optimized apps.

Apple’s iOS 18 is considered a champion in smoothness. Thanks to highly optimized hardware and software, iPhone users enjoy the best set of features alongside smooth functioning and reliable lag-free experiences.

HarmonyOS NEXT is going to be an Android-free OS by Huawei. The operating system will be launched soon in China for many Huawei phones. The software also gaining support for native applications to be accepted widely.

Samsung would keep One UI 7 stick with an intuitive design for responsiveness. Galaxy phones feature flagship processors and displays. However, the animation aspect lags behind iOS and other rivals ruin all other leads and edges.

It’s being said that One UI 7 will beat iOS 18 in terms of smoothness. Samsung is also working with Google to streamline Android apps for Galaxy. The new OS version would also enhance One UI on Galaxies to elevate user experience.

Let’s wait to see what One UI 7 offers.
