Following the SDC24, Samsung and Kohler announced a strategic partnership in the United States. The companies are joining forces to achieve a significant advancement in water management and sustainability.

Kohler’s Anthem smart showers can now be controlled through SmartThings. Users will be able to monitor the amount of shower water used directly through the brand-new water layer on SmartThings Map View, coming in early 2025.

The intelligent water management will be accessible through the SmartThings app on Samsung Smart TVs, Family Hub, and smartphones to provide a clear and convenient way to track shower water consumption in real-time.

Samsung Map View offers users direct access to their home’s shower water usage. Integrated within the SmartThings ecosystem, users can use Map View to monitor and manage water consumption with real-time tracking, and insights into usage patterns.

This integration with the SmartThings ecosystem highlights Samsung and Kohler’s dedication to enhancing home automation while promoting more efficient water use.
