At SDC24, Samsung displayed some of the upcoming One UI 7 changes including the new Quick Settings. The company is adopting squircle components across the interface. The new panel is crafted for user convenience while keeping an intuitive design.

The below-displayed Quick Settings could be featured in One UI 7. The changes are almost confirmed, but the final version could differ slightly. Tipster IceUniverse recently revealed the S25 Ultra mockup with One UI 7 interface.

One UI 7 vs One UI 6 – Quick Settings

One UI 7 could bring updated Network and Battery indicator components. The new software could display the battery percentage inside the icon itself. In One UI 6, the percentage comes outside the vertical battery icon.

WiFi and Bluetooth tiles will be featured in the first row of Quick Settings. The refreshed design increased the corner curvature, matching the squircle appearance. One UI 6.1 panel has square tiles with slightly curved corners.

The next layout consists of key settings in a 4×2 arrangement, which can be expanded further. The layout separates itself from the blurred background through solid BG with transparency. The labels of toggles don’t appear, cleaning the look further.

One UI 6’s layout consists of 12 toggles, expandable with pagination. The layout is a fixed format that doesn’t adjust to vacate place for other functions. In the left image, you can see the Music Player widget between two layouts.

One UI 6 added key display settings in a separate layout consisting of Brightness Slider as well as Eye comfort shield and Dark mode switches. Next to this layout, you get two big tiles of Smart View and Device Control.

One UI 7 splitted the display layout into two different layouts. The first features a brightness slider alongside the Eye comfort shield and Dark mode. The latter menu included a volume adjustment bar and toggles to adjust sound settings.

Samsung confirmed One UI 7 Beta will launch by the end of this year. The Public version will debut with the Galaxy S25 series next year. We expect the Stable rollout for Galaxy devices could start in early February.
