Samsung is teasing a new Gold colorway for the Galaxy A smartphone in India. The company could launch a new Gold color variant of the Galaxy A35 or A55. The teaser highlights splash-proof features and “awesome” branding.

The Korean tech giant launches different models in its Galaxy A series. The Awesome tag is usually used while promoting Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35. Therefore, chances are high that the Gold hue of the A35 or A55 could be announced.

The Galaxy A35 5G is currently available in Iceblue, Lilac, and Navy colors. Meanwhile, Samsung offers Iceblue and Navy colorways of the Galaxy A55 5G. We could see the new color’s announcement in the next few days.

As shown in the teaser video, the smartphone will feature Samsung’s Key Island design. The camera rings could be colored in Black to better differentiate from Gold. The rear panel and frame will feature a shiny Gold shade.

The company has also launched Galaxy A16 in some markets. It comes with six years of OS upgrade support. Key Island design is expanded to the A06 and A16, which was previously seen in expensive A series phones only.

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A phone will be powered by Exynos processor. It will run Android 14-based One UI 6.1 operating system. There will be a triple rear camera arrangement, consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor.
