Samsung Galaxy M35 5G gets security boost with October 2024 update

Samsung has pushed a new update for the Galaxy M35 5G smartphone, which installs the latest October 2024 security patch to improve system security and stability. The update is rolling out for users in India.

Launched in around mid-July 2024, the Samsung Galaxy M35 5G smartphone received its first update in the same month. Now, the October 2024 patch is the second update for the smartphone as it is eligible for a Quarterly updates plan.

The latest security patch is packed with fixes from Google and Samsung. Google’s patches address 2 critical and 28 high-level issues, although 1 was already sorted out and 2 don’t apply to Galaxy phones.

On Samsung’s side, there are fixes for 12 vulnerabilities, especially in system services and Knox. Also, Samsung Semiconductor has brought 1 high-level fix. This update overall improves the performance of the device.

Samsung Galaxy M35 5G smartphone users are getting the October 2024 security update with One UI build version M356BXXS3AXJ1 in India. The installation package size of this update is around 300MB.

To check the update, you just need to navigate to the device’s Settings, then a Software update, and Download and install. If you have received the update, install it now to get enhanced features.

Talking about the specs, the Samsung Galaxy M35 5G shares similar features with the Galaxy A32 5G. It has a powerful Exynos 1380 processor, a 120Hz sAMOLED display, a long-lasting 6000mAh battery with fast charging, and advanced camera capabilities.
