Internal One UI 7 version revamped key Samsung app icons before Beta debut. The company is internally working on the software. A new input suggests that many app icons have been revamped as compared to the ones teased at SDC24.

IceUniverse claims that One UI 7 revamped key Samsung app icons. In particular, the One UI development team has modified the icons of the Gallery, Phone, Camera, Voice Recorder, Contacts, and Notes apps.

After the SDC24 keynote, Samsung showcased the One UI 7 at Code Labs. We’ve seen many videos and graphics of the upcoming software. As the internal development progresses, the interface is getting revamped to look more polished.

The source notes that the newly adopted icons feel more modern and cohesive. Such modifications would improve the aesthetic appeal of One UI 7. Samsung is also listening to consumer feedback to refine the Galaxy experience further.

The majority of Samsung devices sport advanced OLED displays. The top-notch flagships equip pro-grade panels with sizes measuring up to 6.8 inches. The icon revamp is aimed at ensuring that the UI remains intuitive and visually pleasing.

Continuous work on refining app icons suggests that the Korean tech giant is aiming for a cleaner, less distracting interface. Modern design trends should also be taken under consideration to match Galaxy consumers’ likings.

Earlier this month, Samsung announced the One UI 7 Beta Program will start by the end of this year. The opportunity to test the upcoming firmware will be available for both developers and general Galaxy smartphone users.

The final version is scheduled to be unveiled with the next-gen Galaxy S lineup. The company has a history of introducing new S family in the first quarter. However, we may see the Galaxy S25 series launch in the first month of 2025 itself.
