Japanese carrier reveals shocking list of Samsung devices getting Android 15 One UI 7 update

Though Samsung is late, the Japanese carrier revealed a shocking list of Galaxy devices getting the Android 15-based One UI 7 update. Following the Android 15 release, Japan’s AU by KDDI listed all eligible devices for the update.

Per the list revealed by AU, 21 Samsung Galaxy devices will get Android 15-based One UI 7 update. The list includes Galaxy S flagships, Galaxy Z foldable phones, some mid-range Galaxy A models as well as the Galaxy Tab S9 FE+.

All the devices solidify our One UI 7 Update List compiled earlier this year. The document shared by AU confirms Android 15 supported models in Japan. Some models are missing such as the Plus variant of S lineup, which might not have launched in the country.

Samsung is conducting internal testing on the One UI 7 firmware. The Public Beta Program is scheduled to be launched by the end of the year. Meanwhile, you have to wait till next year to receive Samsung’s Android 15 update.

One UI 7 is set to introduce a brand-new design across the interface. Samsung is exploring massive design revamps that will hit your Galaxy next year. Rumors suggest crucial changes happening even in internal testing of One UI 7.

The update will bring redesigned icons for many Samsung apps. The Quick Settings is also modified, while the Notification Center is separated. In addition, UI components also became squircle across the operating system.
