If you’re using the Samsung Notes app and it crashes when you try to add images, you’re not alone. Many users have reported crashing issues with the Samsung Notes app in the community. This problem is too frustrating as users are not able to make notes with images.

The crashes occur in the latest version v4.4.21.71 of the Samsung Notes app. After installing this version, some image files are not being recognized correctly, which leads to the app closing unexpectedly when users try to insert an image.

Samsung is aware of Notes app crashing issues and is preparing a solution. The company plans to release a fix for the image insertion issue with upcoming updates. In the meantime, the community moderator has recommended a temporary solution to help users avoid crashes while using the app.

To insert images without crashing the app, users can check this temporary solution:

  • First, find the image you want to use. Long press on the image until you see the option to save it. Tap to Save option to store it on your phone.
  • Open the Samsung Notes app on your device.
  • Tap the Note creation icon, which looks like a plus sign, to start a new note.
  • Look for the insert icon (another plus sign) within the new note. Tap it and select the saved image from your phone.

By following these steps, users can add images without crashing the app. Keeping the Samsung Notes app updated will also help ensure the best performance.

To make sure you have the latest features and fixes, it’s important to update your Samsung Notes app. For that, open Galaxy Store >> Menu option >> Updates.
