Samsung has released a new update for the Galaxy S20 FE 5G smartphone, which installs the latest Android security patch released in October 2024 to improve system security. This update arrives with a One UI build version G781NKSS9GXJ1.

October 2024 security update is rolling out with some important fixes from Google and Samsung. Google has patched 2 critical and 28 high-level issues, 1 was already resolved and 2 don’t apply to Galaxy devices.

On Samsung’s end, there are 12 fixes for vulnerabilities in system services and Knox. In addition, Samsung Semiconductor also added a fix to improve performance. Overall, the update enhances the security of the device for better protection.

Users of Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G smartphones are getting an October 2024 security update in Korea and the company will soon make it available in other countries. The installation package size of this update is around 275MB.
