Samsung Galaxy A36 5G Design

Samsung Galaxy A56 5G could get a new 12MP selfie camera. The company will likely debut its new premium A series phone in March next year. Meanwhile, rumors have now started to reveal key specifications such as the camera.

GalaxyClub reports Samsung could bring a new 12MP selfie camera to Galaxy A56 5G. The rear camera could remain unchanged, consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro lens.

The new 12MP sensor will replace Samsung’s favorite 32MP selfie snapper on the Galaxy A5x in 2025. The South Korean tech giant has been equipping its premium Galaxy A phones with 32MP front shooter since 2020.

Recent Galaxy S series flagships also debut a 12MP front camera. It remains to be seen whether the A56’s 12MP sensor matches with the S models. While 12MP sounds downgrade from 32MP, it will be just the opposite in practical aspect.

Exynos 1580

Samsung recently announced the Exynos 1580 processor. It’s manufactured on third-generation 4nm process technology. The company highlighted upgraded camera experiences, suggesting a potential hardware shift in the next model.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy A56 5G doesn’t seem to be getting an upgraded primary camera. Samsung might improve the photography experience through Galaxy AI. The selfie camera will surely be improved with the inclusion of a newer sensor.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Colors

Samsung Galaxy S25 family will be available in stunning colors. We are months away from the tentative debut, but an industry insider leaked all the striking colorways that Samsung’s next-generation flagship phones could feature.

Info shared by RossYoung suggests that the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra will be available in four, five, and four standard color options, respectively. Here’s what could be the marketing names of the S25 series colors:

Samsung Galaxy S25 Series Colors

  • Galaxy S25 could be available in Moon Night Blue, Silver Shadow, Sparkling Blue, and Sparkling Green.
  • Galaxy S25 Plus color options could include Midnight Black, Moon Night Blue, Silver Shadow, Sparking Blue, and Sparkling Green.
  • Galaxy S25 Ultra is said to have four Titanium color choices, with marketing names Titanium Black, Titanium Blue, Titanium Gray, and Titanium Silver.

Samsung might also launch a new set of exclusive colors that would be available from the official online shop. You can expect some unique color shades with appealing combinations for the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra.

Recently, the same source revealed that the S25 Ultra won’t get an upgraded display. Due to cost reasons, Samsung might not be bringing its most advanced OLED with M14 material set to next year’s Ultra handset.

What next…?

We assume the S25 series will be announced by mid-January next year. If this happens, the company could officially release the devices by the end of January. The launch will solidify Samsung’s dominance in the first quarter.

Snapdragon 8 Elite chip could be used in all Galaxy S25 series models. Qualcomm’s new chip is manufactured on a 3nm process and promises significant performance improvements – thanks to a custom Oryon CPU and upgraded NPU for AI.

Galaxy S25 Ultra settles for M13 OLED as Pixel 9 Pro, iPhone 16 Pro move to M14

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra might not get upgraded OLED with the M14 material set. For cost reasons, the company has reportedly decided to stick to the same display tech as the S24 Ultra.

According to Ross Young, Samsung may not use M14 OLED in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It would lead the S25 Ultra to lag behind rivals such as Google’s Pixel 9 Pro and Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro series.

Google was the first to adopt Samsung’s most advanced display technology. Apple has also upgraded the panels on iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models.

It was assumed that the Korean tech giant would surely bring M14 OLED to its next flagship lineup. Later, rumors appeared to display an upgrade on the Ultra variant, which isn’t materializing either.

It seems Samsung is planning to cancel the rumored display upgrade to freeze the pricing. It could be because of the increased pricing of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.

Qualcomm has recently launched the Snapdragon 8 Elite manufactured on a 3nm process. The advanced fabrication node is quite expensive than 4nm, pushing 8 Elite’s price to about $250.

OLED with M14 materials promises increased brightness on panels with enhanced power consumption. Notably, it is the most advanced consumer OLED developed by Samsung Display.

Samsung will likely launch the Galaxy S25 series early next year. The lineup will have three models namely the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Next year’s Ultra model will introduce a new design language with slightly rounded corners and an improved camera ring design featuring circular textures identical to the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

Samsung Galaxy S24 September 2024 update

Samsung Galaxy S24 has been hacked at Pwn2Own Ireland 2024. Samsung’s newest flagship phones come with top-notch security solutions. However, an elite hacker used different bugs to hack the smartphone.

At Pwn2Own 2024, Ken Gannon of NCC Group used five different bugs, including a path traversal, to get a shell and install an app on the Galaxy S24. Successful execution earned him a whopping $50,000 and 5 Master of Pwn points.

On October 23, Ken Gannon exploited five security vulnerabilities to compromise an S24 device by getting shell access and installing an arbitrary application. We’ve heard security compromises validated on previous older Samsung phones too.

Pwn2Own is a hacker-specific event that happens twice a year. It’s one of the best platforms for ethical hackers to win massive bounties in favor of executing suspected codes or compromising a handset’s security and privacy.

The hacker who compromised Galaxy S24’s security will keep the bug’s details private for a grace period of 90 days. It will only be shared with Samsung and the Pwn2Own organisers the Trend Micro Zero-Day Initiative.

Think if this bug may have been discovered by a spy or hacker. Your phone’s data and privacy may have been compromised even without any sign. Pwn2Own is a cool competition that awards thousands of dollars to hackers and boosts security.

Many Galaxy phones were indeed rendered insecure during Pwn2Own contests. The company has no issues giving away its flagship devices for security checks. Ultimately, it’s in favor of Galaxy users as these flaws will now be resolved in future OTA.
