Alleged One UI 7 Beta Program ad surfaced online
Samsung hasn’t officially started the One UI 7 Beta Program while an alleged ad has been circulating online. The screenshot screens the Samsung Members app’s interface, with the One UI 7 Beta ad placed in the carousel slider.
The One UI 7 Beta ad has a brand-new graphical appearance, showcasing three developers crafting the software. I can’t say it is a completely fake image, but the Beta Program hasn’t yet been announced for Galaxy consumers.
Samsung officially launches One UI Beta activity every year. The company’s press release informs users about the market availability and eligible models. Beta Moderator is another reliable channel for getting the latest and authentic news about Beta.
For now, Samsung has neither announced Beta nor teased through Community. The Beta Program of One UI 7 will start by the end of the year. However, the final version will be unveiled during the Galaxy S25 launch event.
Recently, we’ve seen a Galaxy S24 Ultra running the latest One UI 7 build. The new firmware has a lot of changes as compared to the teased icons and interface at CodeLab after the Samsung Developer Conference 2024 keynote.
Galaxy fans are eagerly waiting for the major firmware upgrade. Last year, Samsung released the Android 14 Stable to select Galaxy devices in October. This year, the Program has been delayed as major changes are in Samsung’s pipeline.
Samsung’s One UI 7 Beta could be available for the Galaxy S24 series in November. We may also see an expanded Beta, covering select flagship models such as the Galaxy S23 series and the recently released Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6.

Samsung’s upcoming major software update, One UI 7, based on Android 15, is set to introduce comprehensive design and functionality changes for the Galaxy devices starting in early 2025. Let’s move to a closer look at the fresh design and enhanced customization.
While writing this article, I reviewed the SDC announcement, hands-on videos, several unofficial leaked videos of the One UI 7.0 beta, and numerous other sources.
Camera App:
The camera app is redesigned for easier one-handed use, with settings and controls now located at the bottom of the screen for easy accessibility.
Quick Settings and Notifications:
There’s a new quick settings panel, which is now fully customizable. This includes a new volume control location and a split notification panel for a clutter-free experience.
New Icons:
We are going to see new themed icons, featuring a redesigned camera icon among others, aiming for a more modern look.
Battery and Charging:
There’s a new pill-shaped battery icon and an updated charging animation that appears when the device is locked.
Volume and Brightness Controls:
The Volume and Brightness control bar has been added within the compact quick panel for easier adjustments.
Animations and Smoothness:
The interface feels smoother now, with fresh animations making everything you do seem quicker and more responsive. There’s a new animation for various interactions like charging and unlocking.
Customization
You can now personalize your lock screen with more options than ever, from clock styles to wallpapers, including dynamic or interactive elements. There’s likely a broader range of widgets available.
Beta and Release:
A new build has been spotted, indicating ongoing development. The official release of One UI 7, based on Android 15, is expected in early 2025, with beta programs likely starting by the end of 2024 for flagship models like the Galaxy S24 series.
Device Compatibility:
The One UI 7 will be available to a wide range of devices, from the latest Galaxy S and Z series to older models and even some from the A and M series, along with tablets.

One UI 6 Watch Features
One UI 6 Watch update brings many exciting features to improve your watch experience. Samsung adds a Health energy tool that helps you know when you’re ready to exercise or when it’s best to rest. There’s also a new sleep analysis feature that tracks your heart rate, breathing, and how long it takes you to fall asleep.
Moreover, you can customize your workouts with specific goals for different exercises. The update also introduces new gestures for quick actions, making it easier to answer calls and scroll through notifications. Now, you can save images from messages and quickly access your favorite emojis.
New default fonts keep your watch looking fresh, and a power-saving mode helps extend battery life by limiting health features. Additionally, when you play music, your watch will connect seamlessly to Bluetooth headphones or speakers.

One UI 7 Beta hasn’t yet been released but someone installed it and spoiled the mystery. A video posted on YouTube showcases a Galaxy S24 Ultra running the unreleased One UI 7 with brand-new icons, interface tweaks, and a lot more.
YouTuber MobilewalaBhai revealed the One UI 7 interface and features ahead of launch. The new software comes with brand-new UI components, smooth and reliable animations, new dynamic icons, and pretty much to explore.
Home Screen, Apps Screen, and Icons:
It appears Samsung has updated many app icons as there are many differences from the ones we’ve seen during the SDC24. The Home Screen has added new types of widgets with rich features and the Notification panel also added a large pill design.
Quick Settings:
The Quick Settings panel in One UI 7 is much more refined and useful compared to the One UI 6. Samsung also worked on background transparency and blur settings so the components and layout look even more dynamic.
Samsung Camera:
In-app settings of Samsung Camera are now easily accessible. One UI 7 brings all the useful toggles and switches to the bottom side. This change significantly elevates the user experience as all imp keys are now close to the hand.
Charging Animation:
One UI 7 introduces a brand new charging animation for the home and lock screen. A dynamic pill appears when the charger is connected. The pill doubles as the charging bar indicator showing the charging underway beside the percentage.
The Green pill turns Grey and shows the estimated time remaining in full charge. If you connect charging when your phone is unlocked, the battery indicator will enlarge slightly and turn Green indicating the charging is on.
