With these new offerings, Samsung TV Plus enhances its content to bring even better entertainment. The app comes pre-loaded on Smart TV, Smart Monitor, Family Hub Refrigerator, and Freestyle devices.

Apple iPhone getting Circle to Search-like feature with iOS 18.2 Beta. The function allows iPhone users to identify or search for information on what’s on the screen, with visualization matching Google’s Circle to Search.

Google is reportedly working to integrate Circle to Search with Lens. This way, all smartphones, regardless of platform, will be able to utilize the AI-powered search feature. However, Apple now has its own visually rich screen search feature.

The recently released iOS 18.2 Beta comes with a new “What’s on your screen?” feature powered by ChatGPT. The developer beta build brings Apple’s Visual Intelligence to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

How it works:

  • iPhone users can ask Siri to analyze what’s on the screen. The assistant will then take a screenshot, letting you pass it over to ChatGPT for visual analysis.

One UI 7 may bring AI Key to older Samsung Galaxy tablets

One UI 7 update may bring dedicated Galaxy AI Key support to older Samsung tablets. The company has recently launched the Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra. The new Cover Keyboard brings a dedicated Galaxy AI button.

According to the info, Samsung may bring the Galaxy AI Key to older tablets with the One UI 7 update. The eligible models include the Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9 Plus, Tab S9 Ultra, Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE Plus.

Galaxy Tab S9 and Tab S10 accessories and covers are cross-compatible. This means you can use your Tab S9’s accessories with the latest Tab S10 tablets. Except for the AI Key, all other aspects and features are functional from day one.

SamMobile discovered evidence in Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S10 keyboard promo video. The AI Key will become functional on the entire Tab S9 series. However, a major One UI upgrade is required, hinting at availability next year.

Samsung fueled its Tab S10 series with Galaxy AI features. Beyond that, the “book cover keyboards” debut an AI Key. Galaxy users can quickly trigger Bixby or Gemini using the AI Key, which isn’t currently supported on older Tab models.

The Android 15-based One UI 7 will launch early next year. The software’s Beta testing will start by the end of this year. The company would bring the Beta to both developers and general smartphone users in select regions.

Report: TM Roh confirms massive Galaxy AI expansion in 2025

Samsung Galaxy AI will have a massive expansion in 2025. Following the launch earlier this year, Samsung’s AI feature set expanded to many products. The company has big plans for the Galaxy AI, scheduled for the next year.

TM Roh reportedly confirmed Samsung will expand Galaxy AI to all of its mobile devices in 2025. The beneficiary products could include the budget segment Galaxy A series, as well as tablet PCs, laptops, and wearable devices.

Speaking to the employees in a regular Town Hall meeting, Dr Roh reiterated Samsung’s goal of creating an “ecosystem of Galaxy AI” to debut the AI model to all of its mobile devices, as per the Korean media outlets report.

As of September 2024, over 20 million Samsung devices running Galaxy AI. It includes the latest Galaxy S24 series and Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6. AI features were made available to many older flagships such as 2022’s Galaxy S22 lineup.

Recently, Samsung rolled out the Circle to Search feature to Galaxy A55, A35, and many more budget devices. During the SDC24, Sally confirmed many more AI features will be supported on Galaxy A series smartphones, starting next year.

High hopes for Galaxy S24

TM Roh’s confirmation to employees aligns with Samsung’s plans. Apple continues to grow, while Chinese vendors rising the competition. Galaxy AI could be a very useful weapon to continue dominating the smartphone market.

In addition, the MX Division Head has high hopes for the Galaxy S24 series to drive up Samsung’s smartphone business this year. Samsung also launched the Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6 with Galaxy AI but the S24 series still getting the center stage.
