Google has recently released Android 15 QPR1 Beta 3, which brings some exciting changes to Themed icons in both light and dark modes. This dynamic theming might also be included in the upcoming One UI 7.

Based on Android 15, Samsung is going to start the One UI 7 Beta Program at the end of this year for developers and will later expand it to regular flagship users. Notably, the stable version of One UI 7 is expected to debut with the upcoming series next year.

The next One UI iteration will bring a range of new features and enhancements to provide a next-level experience. It is also expected to include several UI changes to make the interface look cleaner. Inspired by Android 15, One UI 7 could tweak dynamic theming for icons to shift towards a more engaging user experience.

According to information via 9to5Google, themed icons now appear lighter in dark mode in Android 15. The circular background has a softer color to make it easier on the eyes while The inner icons have also been brightened to match this new look.

In light mode, the inner icons are now brighter and take on a pastel shade. This change gives the icons a fresh and lively appearance to enhance the overall look of the interface in bright settings. However, without the search bar, it might be tricky for users to tell if they’re really using dark mode.

With One UI 7, we might see similar design changes on Galaxy devices inspired by Android 15 to make the user experience even better.
