WhatsApp Status Updates Reminders

WhatsApp has released a new beta update for Android, which brings an option named Reminders for status updates. The fresh beta update arrives with version 2.24.22.21, available through the Google Play Beta Program.

The new reminder notification feature helps users keep track of status updates they may have missed. If you don’t regularly check your contacts’ status, the  Reminders option will make sure you don’t miss important posts.

With the Reminders feature on WhatsApp, users will receive notifications about new status updates, especially from contacts they interact with frequently or have marked as favorites. This is mainly useful for those with many contacts as it can help to easily check updates that disappear after 24 hours.

The option is turned off by default on WhatsApp, so you need to turn it on if you want to receive notifications for status updates from your favorite contacts.

To activate it, check the Reminders option in your notification settings and turn it on if you find it useful. WhatsApp has chosen not to let users change how often they get these reminders, as the app will automatically prioritize updates from your frequently interacted contacts.

This reminder notification feature is currently available to some beta testers and will be rolled out to more WhatsApp users in the coming days.

WhatsApp Status Updates Reminders

WhatsApp is a messaging and calling app that lets users send messages, photos, videos, and more. With the latest beta update, WhatsApp is making it easier to discover and follow channels with QR codes. Users can verify the update through version 2.24.22.20, which is available on the Google Play Beta Program.

The fresh beta update introduces a new feature that allows users to view and follow channels using QR codes. This new feature is currently under development and will be available in a future update.

The QR code feature of WhatsApp will let channel owners share their channels quickly and easily. Instead of sending a link, they can show or send a QR code that others can scan with their phones.

This feature provides an easy way for users to access channels, especially in social settings like events or meetups, where they can scan the code and follow the channel instantly.

Previously, WhatsApp added a shortcut to the updates tab to make it easier for users to find channels that interest them. They also moved the channel creation option to a different menu for a more organized view.

Aside from this, WhatsApp is also testing the “Get link info on Google” feature via beta update. Testers can now easily check the authenticity of any link shared in individual or group chats to reduce the risk of falling scams.

WhatsApp has pushed a new feature in its latest beta update, which helps users check the safety of links shared in chats. This update is available through the Google Play Beta Program with version 2.24.22.19.

Some WhatsApp beta users are currently testing the get link info on the Google feature. Those who have joined the beta program can access this update and try out the new link information tool. It is expected to be available for more users with stable updates to take advantage of a safer messaging experience.

Get Link Info on Google

With this update, users can easily verify the authenticity of any link shared in individual or group chats. To use the feature, simply tap and hold a message that contains a link. This will bring up a menu with the option to search for information about the link on Google.

Previously, WhatsApp focused on helping users verify frequently forwarded links. Now, this improved feature allows for checking any link shared in conversations, offering more comprehensive protection. However, WhatsApp does not access or see what users are searching for.

The new feature makes it easier to learn more about the link before clicking on it. It helps to reduce the risk of falling for scams or downloading harmful content.

WhatsApp link info feature

WhatsApp is rolling out a new beta update with version 2.24.22.13 via the Google Play Beta Program for Android devices. This update introduces a new feature to create and share entire custom sticker packs on WhatsApp, making it easier to manage.

The fresh update arrives with a feature that allows users to create and share custom sticker packs directly within WhatsApp. This means you can organize your stickers into groups instead of having them scattered in the “Favorites” section. It helps you to find your favorite stickers much simpler.

Not only will this feature help you keep your stickers organized, but it will also make sharing them much easier. After creating a sticker pack, you can share it with friends or in group chats. Your friends can then import the entire pack into their own collections with just two taps. This means you won’t have to save each sticker one by one.

WhatsApp Sticker Pack sharing

Previously, WhatsApp unveiled a feature that lets users manage multiple stickers at once. This allows you to delete or move your favorites without needing to do them one by one. Now, WhatsApp is working on a brand-new feature that will let users create and share their own custom sticker packs directly in the app.

Currently, the new sticker pack feature is in development and will be available in a future update. Stay tuned with us for more details.
