One UI 7 animation could blow your mind! Samsung is readying its biggest upgrade for Galaxy users. In the meantime, a video of the alleged One UI 7 animation surfaced online, showcasing Samsung’s smoothest UI yet.

IceUniverse shared a video showing the smoothness of One UI 7 animation. The software has significantly improved motion and transitions. The app opening and closing aspects are now much more stable and reliable, with no glitches.

It seems a screen recording is being played on a Galaxy S25/Plus smartphone. You can also check the brand-new icons of Settings, Gallery, Phone, and Camera. The Weather widget is also revamped with a thinner shape than One UI 6.

Samsung fans can feel the difference between the animation evolution of One UI. Apple’s iOS is well-known for its animation and functional stability. We can now anticipate an equivalent experience on the One UI 7 software.

One UI 7 Beta Release Date?

One UI 7 Beta will be released by the end of the year. Samsung hasn’t revealed a certain timeline for the Beta Program’s launch. Meanwhile, we could hear some big news regarding the Beta Program at SDC24 Korea on November 21st.

The Galaxy S24 series is sure to be eligible for the Beta Program. This year’s Beta trial could be a brief activity, covering select models in 7 regions. However, Samsung confirmed that it will be available for Developers and general users too.

Samsung aims to drop a nearly Stable One UI 7 Beta build for Galaxy users. The company is ensuring no major issue is left in the firmware. A slight delay is preferred over ruining the consumer experience because of weird bugs.

At SDC 2024, everyone anticipated a major announcement from Samsung, but the company did not unveil the Android 15-based One UI 7.0 during the event. However, Samsung gave us our first glimpse of the upcoming One UI 7.0 running on the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Since then, we now have a more detailed hands-on video of the Galaxy S24 Ultra running One UI 7.0 beta, courtesy of a YouTuber (video below).

The YouTube channel Mobile Wala Bhai has released another hands-on video exploring One UI 7 features. Following the initial video, which highlighted features like the pill-shaped battery indicator, revamped app icons, a new charging indicator, and camera interface changes, this latest video dives into customization of the lock screen, Quick Panel, notifications bar, and Task Changer.

Lock Screen Customizations:

There are new options for lock screen customization in One UI 7, including access to the image gallery directly from the lock screen, new lock screen widgets, and various clock styles.

Quick Panel and Notifications:

In One UI 7.0, you can now swipe from different sides of the screen to access notifications or quick settings, enhancing usability with one-hand operation. The notification panel and quick toggles have been redesigned for a cleaner appearance.

In the image below, if you want to see your notifications, just swipe down from the left side of your phone’s screen. If you need the Quick Settings, swipe down from the right side. The notifications now have a more rounded look.

Task Changer:

With One UI 7, you’ll see that everything moves more smoothly on your phone screen. In addition, you can now easily shut down apps you’re not using anymore, which helps keep your phone running smoothly.

Stock App Redesign:

Several stock applications like Camera, Clock, Contacts, Gallery, and Weather have new, more three-dimensional icons.

What do we know so far about One UI 7?

Samsung One UI 7 to introduce a comprehensive UI overhaul. This includes new animations, a stronger background blur effect in the app drawer, and redesigned app icons for a modern look. The camera app controls have been moved to the bottom for easier one-handed use. The One UI 7 is expected to add more advanced AI features.

At its developer conference, Samsung announced that One UI 7 will be released with the Galaxy S25 early next year, but users can expect the beta program to start by the end of 2024.

One UI 7 could tweak dynamic theming, inspired by Android 15

Google has recently released Android 15 QPR1 Beta 3, which brings some exciting changes to Themed icons in both light and dark modes. This dynamic theming might also be included in the upcoming One UI 7.

Based on Android 15, Samsung is going to start the One UI 7 Beta Program at the end of this year for developers and will later expand it to regular flagship users. Notably, the stable version of One UI 7 is expected to debut with the upcoming series next year.

The next One UI iteration will bring a range of new features and enhancements to provide a next-level experience. It is also expected to include several UI changes to make the interface look cleaner. Inspired by Android 15, One UI 7 could tweak dynamic theming for icons to shift towards a more engaging user experience.

According to information via 9to5Google, themed icons now appear lighter in dark mode in Android 15. The circular background has a softer color to make it easier on the eyes while The inner icons have also been brightened to match this new look.
