One UI 7’s Thermal Throttling key will unleash max gaming power
One UI 7 could come with a hidden key to disable Thermal Throttling. Samsung is working on its Android 15-based One UI software. A tipster revealed One UI 7’s hidden feature that will allow users to maximize gaming potential.
According to the info, One UI 7 carries a Developer options key that lets you completely disable Thermal Throttling. Before the recent removal, it was accessible on One UI 6 through a manual System UI Tuner trick.
Samsung is blamed for aggressively throttling performance in certain circumstances. Previously, the company rolled out an alternate performance management option in the Game Launcher/Game Booster app to bypass throttling.
The Labs trick somewhat reduces Thermal Throttling, but not a solution. Looking ahead, the One UI 7 would address the Thermal Throttling concern so Galaxy users can experience maximum power during long gaming sessions.
The key will let you completely disable Thermal Throttling. It is a better solution than the performance management option of Labs, which increases the thermal heating limit to lessen throttling during extensive usage.
Thermal Throttling could be disabled
Developer options usually contain a set of settings not preferred for general users. It is mainly for developers to test application behavior during development. However, the wise use of Developer options unleashes maximum power from hardware.
The feature is intended to be developed for flagship phones. The upcoming Galaxy S25 series would also have the key to disable Thermal Throttling. The modification will allow users to continue gaming with the maximum performance allowed by the hardware.
