Galaxy AI Notifications

Key Information:

  • Galaxy AI could add an AI Notifications feature inspired by Apple Intelligence Notification Summary.
  • AI Notification feature could be added with One UI 7 update.
  • Samsung is said to support AI Notifications in a handful of languages.

Samsung’s Galaxy AI Notifications could make iOS 18.1’s Notification Summary feel outdated. The company is expected to bring a brand new feature with One UI 7. The addition will redefine how you interact with ongoing notifications.

Tipster ChunBhai revealed Galaxy AI Notifications feature will support a handful of languages other than English. Apple Intelligence’s Notification Summary is currently supported in English only, with support will be expanded sequentially.

The rumor suggests Samsung’s AI Notifications could be supported in English, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Japanese, and French. This way, Galaxy users will have a far better experience as compared to its Apple Intelligence counterpart.

Meanwhile, Samsung hasn’t teased such an AI-powered feature for Galaxy devices. We are only getting key inputs in the form of leaks and rumors. However, the input is coming out from a credible source whose many leaks have proven true.

Samsung’s Galaxy AI already supports over a dozen languages. The company is regularly working on the expansion of supported languages and dialects. The recent rollout of Dutch will be followed by three more languages by the end of the year.

Apple also lags behind in terms of AI feature availability on iPhone models. Apple Intelligence is only available on iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 lineups. Other models are out from the race due to, citing hardware limitations.

On the flip side, Samsung is bringing select AI features to Galaxy A (mid-range) smartphones. Full-fledged Galaxy AI experience is available on flagship models as old as released in 2022, with more epic experiences on the way.
