unlocked Galaxy S24 November 2024 update

Samsung Galaxy S25 series will be available in new sparkling colorways. The source who leaked Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra color options has now revealed online-exclusive colors that will be available from Samsung Shop only.

According to RossYoung, Samsung Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, and S25 Ultra will be available in bold new online-exclusive colors. These choices will be additional than the standard hues that will be sold from various platforms and retail shops.

Online-exclusive colors:

  • Galaxy S25 – Coral Red, Pink Gold, and Blue/Black
  • Galaxy S25 Plus – Coral Red, Pink Gold and Blue/Black
  • Galaxy S25 Ultra – Titanium Blue/Black, Titanium Jade Green and Titanium Pink/Silver

Last heard the Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus could feature new ‘sparkling’ shades, while the S25 Ultra would continue Titanium hues. Samsung will offer a wide array of color choices for the next-gen flagships so consumers can have extended options.

Standard colors:

  • Galaxy S25 – Moon Night Blue, Silver Shadow, Sparkling Blue, and Sparkling Green
  • Galaxy S25 Plus – Midnight Black, Moon Night Blue, Silver Shadow, Sparking Blue, and Sparkling Green
  • Galaxy S25 Ultra – Titanium Black, Titanium Blue, Titanium Gray, and Titanium Silver

Gorilla Armor across the S25 lineup?

Samsung’s decision to bring Gorilla Armor to Galaxy S24 Ultra was the coolest. The next-gen glass technology significantly reduces glare from the screen, making the display showcase vibrant and crispy colors.

I wish Samsung would expand the anti-reflective screen technology to the Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus. The Ultra variant will indeed feature the anti-reflective glass, but its expansion to other models will be a game-changer move.

Apple’s latest and most expensive iPhone 16 Pro Max lacks an anti-reflective screen. Viewed outside, the S24 Ultra shows minimal glare, meanwhile, the glare makes iPhone 16 Pro Max screen visibility annoying despite higher brightness.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold SE sold out China in hours!

Samsung W25 and W25 Flip

In a shocking development, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold SE has been sold out in China. It’s quite stunning as the company has a presence in the Chinese smartphone market. It seems the Special Edition is bringing special happiness to Samsung.

Earlier, Samsung sold out two stocks of the Galaxy Z Fold SE in South Korea. The first sale started late last month, while the second sale was held earlier this month. Both stocks were sold out within minutes, revealing the craze for the new foldable.

Even in the highly competitive Chinese market, the first batch of sales sold out in just a short time, signaling strong interest. Both the W25 and W25 Flip had their first batch of pre-orders sell out within just three hours of sales beginning.

Samsung also announced that the pre-sold units will be officially released on November 15. Since these are limited edition models, it’s reported that stock was quite limited. Pricing of the new foldable phones is as follows:

  • Samsung W25 (Z Fold SE) – 17,999 yuan (~ $2500)
  • Samsung W25 Flip (Z Flip 6) – 9,999 yuan (~ $1400)

Samsung’s W25 selling in China is based on the Galaxy Z Fold SE. When folded, its thickness is 10.6mm, and when unfolded, it’s 4.9mm. Due to the metallic frame at the hinge, the W25 is 19g heavier than the Fold SE (which weighs 236g), coming in at 255g.

IDC reported that Samsung held a 7.7% share in the third quarter in China. However, experts believe that the success of the W25 is unlikely to lead to significant growth given the limited quantity of units and the relatively small consumer base.

Leak: Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim to boast an ‘Ultra’ (200MP?) camera

Samsung Camera 14.0.00.93 update

Samsung seems to be ensuring the Galaxy S25 Slim to make the iPhone 17 Air feel outdated. The phone has recently been spotted on the IMEI database. Now, a leaker claims Samsung could equip the Galaxy S25 Slim with an Ultra camera.

With an “Ultra” camera, tipster IceUniverse hints at a 200MP sensor on the Galaxy S25 Slim. Samsung debuted this monstrous sensor with the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which also featured in the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Samsung could bring the same (or enhanced) 200MP primary camera to the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S25 Slim could also use the same sensor to offer an exceptional photography experience to Galaxy consumers.

Tipster Ice Universe on Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim camera:

Exclusive: The Galaxy S25 Slim is equipped with an “Ultra” camera.

Other camera specs of the S25 Slim remain to be known. However, it could get a 12-megapixel ultrawide and a 10-megapixel telephoto with 3x optical zoom. Additionally, the selfie camera could have a resolution of 12-megapixel.

Wait, wait… That’s not it.

Commenting on Ice’s X post, tipster Jukanlosreve pointed out that Samsung hasn’t yet confirmed Galaxy S25 Slim specifications. This claim flips the entire story and brings us to the starting point where all camera specs are yet to be revealed.

Tipster Jukanlosreve on S25 Slim specs:

I heard that there are currently no confirmed specifications.

Galaxy S25 Slim is confirmed?

The answer is, Yes. Samsung is indeed working on an additional Galaxy S25 variant that could be Slim or Special Edition. Amid claims of replacement with S25 FE, the 200-megapixel camera rumor hints that it could be marketed as a Special Edition.

Samsung has recently launched the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition. Compared to the latest Z Fold 6, it brings a sleek yet thinner design, larger cover and inner displays, a 200-megapixel primary camera, and slightly tweaked design language.

Galaxy S25 Slim surfaces as Samsung’s bold rival to iPhone 17 Air

Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim

Early Samsung evidence solidifies the existence of the Galaxy S25 Slim. As Apple prepares an iPhone 17 Air (or Slim) for 2025, Samsung could rival it with a sleek S25 variant. For the first time, the fourth model of the S25 series surfaced online.

As spotted by Smartprix, Samsung’s SM-S937U is spotted as the market name “Galaxy” in the GSMA IMEI database. Such listing usually happens when Samsung adds an under-development handset for testing purposes before launching.

Samsung has been working on a Slim variant of the Galaxy S25 series. The smartphone could be sleeker than other S25 models. However, the flagship range will remain intact regarding variants; Standard, Plus, and Ultra.

As far as I know, Samsung could launch the Galaxy SM-S937U in the next six months. The smartphone has entered the testing phase, as it was spotted on the IMEI database. The mode numbers for other S25 models are as follows:

  • SM-S931U – Galaxy S25 5G
  • SM-S936U – Galaxy S25 Plus 5G
  • SM-S938U – Galaxy S25 Ultra 5G

The rumor floated amid reports that Apple confirmed the iPhone 17 Air development. The Galaxy S25 Slim could launch by April next year, following the S25 series around January.  The company is targeting two different aims with a single shot:

  1. Testing potential Galaxy S26 series design revamp with S25 Slim.
  2. Rivalling Apple’s iPhone 17 Air in key markets including the United States.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim

Samsung will likely introduce the new Galaxy S25 series early next year. The slimmer model is said to be unveiled sometime in April 2025. The S25 Slim should come with flagship specifications matching the Galaxy S25 series.

Apple could launch the iPhone 17 Air along with the iPhone 17 series in the third quarter of 2025. The phone is rumored to be priced even higher than the Pro Max and could feature a 6.6-inch display and a single rear camera.
