iTel S25 Ultra

itel just launched Galaxy S25 and S25 Ultra clones before Samsung drops the real thing. The next-gen Galaxy flagships will be announced early next year. Meanwhile, itel tried to gain some attention on the name of Samsung’s flagships.

The Galaxy S25 series will be equipped with top-notch hardware capabilities. Advanced Galaxy AI features will help them stand tall against rivals. Copying the name is easy but there’s no comparison between itel and Samsung’s S25 Ultra.

Last year, itel launched the S24 series in certain markets. Now, the company come up with the S25 and S25 Ultra, which even cost less than Samsung’s affordable phones. itel copied the possible camera arrangement and brought a curved screen.

iTel S25 Ultra

itel S25 and S25 Ultra come with flat AMOLED and curved AMOLED screens, respectively. The phones get a 50MP main camera, 32MP selfie snapper, 5000mAh battery as well as IP54 splash resistance.

The itel S25 and S25 Ultra models are available for purchase in the Philippines. The S25 starts at PHP 5,799 (~ $110), while the S25 Ultra starts at PHP 10,999 (~ $210) for 8GB RAM + 128GB/256GB storage configuration.

People may find the itel S25 and S25 Ultra good deals in the budget segment. The company managed to steal the design aesthetics very well this time. However, it will still feel far from the real thing that Samsung may bring in 2025.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Release

Samsung could launch the Galaxy S25 Ultra in January 2025. The flagship will be equipped with a high-profile display, Qualcomm’s most powerful processor, an upgraded ultrawide camera, new Galaxy AI features, and a refined design.

The Note-like boxy appearance will be ditched in the S25 Ultra. Rather, Samsung is reportedly opting for a Note 20-like design approach with minimal rounds on corners. The camera rings may also be inspired by the Z Fold 6’s.

Samsung Improved Haptic Feedback

Samsung is reportedly working on a new way to make your smartphone feel more interactive and responsive. A recent patent shows that Samsung is developing a system to improve haptic feedback.

The haptic feedback is the vibrations you feel when you touch your phone’s screen. The new patent, spotted by MSPowerUser, reveals a new technology that could make using your phone more immersive with improved haptic feedback, especially in everyday tasks and mobile gaming.

This new patent shows the plan to add multiple small vibration motors around the edges of the phone. These motors would work together with sensors that detect where and how hard you touch the screen.

When you touch the screen, the phone can send feedback directly to the area where your finger is. It gives you the sensation of pressing a real button, even on a phone with a large, smooth touchscreen.

This improved haptic feedback could make the smartphone feel more interactive and responsive. In everyday use, it could offer more accurate feedback when toggling settings, such as adjusting Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. It could also enhance the mobile gaming experience by providing rumble effects when firing a weapon.

Samsung has experimented with similar technology before. For example, the Galaxy S8 had a pressure-sensitive home button under the screen that allowed users to press firmly to go home, even when the phone was asleep.

Now, with this new patent, Samsung could take haptic feedback to the next level to offer a more detailed and responsive touch experience.

If Samsung brings this technology, it could set a new standard for haptic feedback on mobile devices by providing more r realistic and enjoyable interaction.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim plans hit a roadblock

Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim

Samsung is reportedly facing technical hurdles in Galaxy S25 Slim development. The company is said to be having issues with supply chain and components partners, leading it to end up skipping the adoption of evolving technologies.

According to the info, Samsung could skip adopting the next-gen PCB in Galaxy S25 Slim. Meanwhile, a new kind of battery is rumored to be used in the limited edition smartphone, while capacity improvements are unlikely.

The source disclosed that Samsung may not be able to bring a planned battery upgrade to the Slim variant. This is because of the delay in mass production of the substrate by applying new materials and techniques.

The reason is that thinner circuit boards could not be commercialized next year. Samsung has allegedly planned to reduce the S25 Slim by using a thinner PCB plate and a slimmer battery with increased height and width.

The battery aspect could see a revamp from the conventional solution. It is reported that the S25 Slim’s battery could feature a different form of cell and material. It will help Samsung marginally reduce the phone’s overall thickness.

Previous Reports

Galaxy S25 Slim may not replace Samsung’s next Fan Edition smartphone. The S25 Slim is said to be produced in limited quantities. There’s no genuine data on what sleek the phone would be in terms of dimensions.

The S25 Slim may not be released alongside the Galaxy S25 series early next year. Samsung may opt for a mid-year timeframe to bring the slimmer model. That said, the S25 lineup will continue the legacy with three models.

A tipster claimed that the S25 Slim will feature a 200-megapixel camera. The other camera specs could be equivalent to the S25 including a 12-megapixel ultrawide, a 10-megapixel telephoto with 3x optical zoom, and a 12-megapixel selfie snapper.
