Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra receiving November 2024 security update
Samsung has pushed the November 2024 security update for Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus, and Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphones. The update is currently live for users in Canada and the company will expand it soon to more countries.
The fresh update improves system security and stability to provide a better Galaxy experience. It installs the Android security patch, fixing several bugs encountered in the previous version.
Notably, the November 2024 security update brings security fixes from both Google and Samsung. In total, 52 bugs and vulnerabilities have been patched in Android and Samsung software. Out of these, 38 are considered high-level by Google. There’s also one issue that doesn’t affect Galaxy devices.
However, Samsung has also fixed 13 other problems, mostly related to multiple user profiles, Dex Mode, Galaxy Watch, Settings, and Maintenance Mode. All in all, this update will help keep your Galaxy devices running safely and smoothly. Overall, it improves the performance for a smoother experience.
