Samsung One UI 7 Beta Makes Major Progress Ahead of Release
Samsung is gearing up to launch the first public beta update for its highly anticipated One UI 7.0 based on Android 15 for the Galaxy S24 series. The fresh testing versions for Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra spotted on Samsung’s server hint at the end of a long wait for users eager to test out One UI 7 features.
According to the tipster, the first beta build was first found for the Galaxy S24 Ultra in India and Europe. Now, it’s also been spotted in six of the seven eligible countries where Samsung will offer the beta.
These countries include the US, UK, Germany, Poland, India, and South Korea. However, China is not yet included, though it is expected to join soon.
Usually, Samsung rolls out beta programs in phases. The first phase mainly includes markets like Germany, South Korea, and the US, with other countries joining in the second phase. Although Samsung has followed this pattern in the past, there’s hope that the company may release the beta update in all eligible markets together.
After that, Samsung will also add more devices to the beta program. We expect most of the flagship Galaxy devices from 2023 and 2024 to be eligible. If you own one of these devices, you’ll need to sign up through the Samsung Members app to join the beta.
Based on Android 15, One UI 7.0 will bring improvements to the interface, new features, and better performance. While the full update won’t be available immediately, beta testers will get an early look at what’s new coming. Samsung will release a stable version with the Galaxy S25 series launch next year.
If you have a Galaxy S24 smartphone, ensure it is ready for One UI 7 Beta.
