Samsung Galaxy A55 has been spotted on Geekbench running One UI 7-based Android 15. This smartphone will be one of the first phones in the Galaxy A series to get Android 15, which is set to bring new features and improvements to the device.

According to the tipster, the Samsung Galaxy A55 with One UI 7 has scored impressively on the benchmark, with a single-core score of 1161 and a multi-core score of 3369. These scores suggest the A55 will offer amazing performance to handle everyday tasks and multitask easily.

One UI 7 update will mark the start of a new software upgrade cycle for Samsung’s mid-range Galaxy A55 smartphone. Notably, Samsung promises to provide four major Android updates to the Galaxy A55, so users can expect the phone to stay up-to-date with the latest features for several years.

While Android 15 won’t officially launch until 2025, Samsung has been testing the software on several devices already. Earlier, the Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A54 were seen on Geekbench with Android 15 earlier, and now the A55 is joining the list. This shows that Samsung is regularly working on the development of the next version of One UI skin.

It’s possible that some Galaxy A55 users could get to try Android 15 early through a beta program, but this hasn’t been confirmed yet. Samsung will likely release the beta first for flagship models like the Galaxy S24 series, and other mid-range devices could get a chance to try new features later.

Stay tuned for more information as the One UI 7 Beta update is reportedly going to be released this week.
