Samsung is moving quickly with the development of Android 15-based One UI 7, and the beta is reportedly coming soon for Galaxy flagships. Ahead of the official release, the first One UI 7 firmware for the Samsung Galaxy A53 has been spotted on testing servers.

The Galaxy A53 smartphone has already shown its performance running One UI 7 and Android 15 through Geekbench scores in August. Now, a firmware version A536BXXUDFXK2 surfaced on the Checkfirm platform, showing that the One UI 7 update testing is under for the Galaxy A53 smartphone in Europe.

It’s important to note that the firmware seen is an internal test version, meaning it’s not yet available for public use. However, the beta build for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series was recently spotted for some eligible countries countries.

While other devices like the Samsung Galaxy A53 may eventually get to join the One UI 7 beta program, it’s not sure that the A53 will be included in the early testing. This smartphone will receive the official One UI 7.0 update sometime in 2025, after the release of the Galaxy S25 series.

For the Galaxy A53, this will be the third major update it receives. The phone originally came with Android 12 and One UI 4.1, and has since been updated to Android 13 and One UI 5. After Android 15, the Galaxy A53 will also get Android 16 and One UI 8.0.

Stay tuned for more information as Samsung is continuously working to start the One UI 7 Beta Program.
